What is the best way to get to you from Coolangatta Airport?
What is the best form of transport from Coolangatta Airport?
The quickest and best transport is a local taxi $10-$12. It takes no more then 5 minutes.

Do you have a minimum stay over Christmas?
Yes. We have a minimum of 7 nights over the Christmas period.
Please Note: This is only over the Christmas period- 11th Dec 2010 till 23rd Jan 2011.

Is Crystal Beach close to shops?
Yes. We have a take away shopn ext door. A 30 second drive along Golden Four Drive is Tugun shopping Village which consists of a mini market (Foodworks), Red Rooster, Domino's Pizza, Marie's Pizza, Newsagents, two bottle shops, Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, Italian Resturants, Tugun fruit market, Local fruit market, Post office, Hungry Jacks, Laundry Mat, Tugun Medical Centre and Tugun Dentist.
A 3 minute drive South is Coolangatta which consists of the main supermarkets being Coles, Woolworths and Aldi.

Does Crystal Beach accept schoolies?
No. Please note any bookings made on behalf of a schoolies party by another person will be refused entry and no refund given.

What car parking facilities does Crystal Beach have?
We have an underground security parking. 2 bedroom apartments have one car space while all 3 bedroom apartments have two car spaces.
Entry height is 2.1 metres on a declined driveway.
There are visitors car spaces available on request and are subject to availability. There are no limits or meters out the front of Crystal Beach so it's perfectly fine to park on the street.

Is it safe to swim in front of Crystal Beach
Yes. Most guests swim opposite Crystal Beach.
We are in the middle of two patrolled beachs, Tugun SLSC and Bilinga SLSC.
Please also look at the News section of our website and read the article 'Beach Safety'. It has great tips and teaches you about the do's and don't of beach swimming.
Always remember if in doubt swim between the flags.
Deposits for Christmas bookings

What deposits and when does the balance need to be paid?
An initial holding deposit of $200 is needed when booking. For bookings between the 11th Dec 2010- 23rd Jan 2011, the final balance needs to be paid before the 1st December.

Is linen provided?
Sheets, pillow cases, bath mats, bath towels and kitchen tea towel are provided in the price.
Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, soap, toilet paper, hand washing up liquid, dish cloth and scourer are provided on initial check in. Any extra or when these run out is the guests responsibility to provide.

How to make a booking on line?
Put in dates you desire. If available follow instructions on booking engine.
If on request only, you will be given a chance to put in all your details and that request comes to reception. THIS IS NOT A BOOKING, SIMPLY A REQUEST ONLY.
Reception staff will respond within 24 hours as to whether there is or is not availability. You will receive an email stating this.
If available you then go ahead and book on line with our booking engine.
Please note: An initial 10% will be debited to your card. This is for Etourisms commission. Within 24 hours a $200 deposit will be debited to your card from Crystal Beach (A & K Whittington Inv. Pty Ltd) which secures the apartment.
Both the 10% and $200 come off the total tariff.
