Turn back time and check out the Cooly Rocks Festival on the 1st to 11th of June this year. Cooly Rocks On is a 50s and 60s based nostalgia festival which consists of a car show of 1200+ hot rods, custom and classic cars and Rock 'n Roll, Rockabilly and Swing entertainment.

- 1-8 June Classic Cars, Customs & Hot Rods start hitting the towns and cruising the streets in the build up to the Shannons Show 'n Shine during the Grand Finale weekend
- 1-8 June 9 Car runs for car entrants throughout the week
- 9-10 June 9am-6pm Shannons Show 'n Shine Coolangatta & Tweed Heads - Over 1200 vehicles on display
- 9-10 June 9am-5pm Kirra Beach Surf Precinct comes alive with Kombi's, Woody's, VW's, Panelvans and stationwagons celebrating the 50s & 60s surf era
- 9-10 June 9am-7pm Shannons Super rig on display with 2 Drive Simulators with real race seats. (Gran Turismo) Interactive screens and rooftop for viewing. Entry Free
- 10 June 2pm Shannons Show 'n Shine Awards ceremony
- 9-10 June 5pm-7pm Shannons Super Cruise through the streets of Coolangatta, Tweed Heads & Kirra
There is alot to see and do over the first 8 days of the festival, then you'll see the Grand Finale weekend shutdown the streets and setup 8 outdoor stages and over 200 market stalls.
Entry to the festival is free, with some ticketed events at participating venues.
